🕰️ Born before anyone knew what a CMS was

MESH was born in 1995, when almost nobody knew what a content management system was. There was no WordPress (2003), no Joomla (2005) and no Drupal (2001). We had to build our own way to publish, manage and quality-check websites, and we have maintained and improved it ever since: 31+ years of continuous development.

Long before the industry started talking about AI, MESH was already built around the things AI systems need today: clean structure, speed, clear facts and machine-readable pages. That is why the jump to the AI era with MESH/5.0 and 5.1 was a natural next step for us, not a scramble.

A typical slow WordPress site runs a heavy multipurpose theme and dozens of plugins, each one another thing to update and another door for attackers. Our WordPress runs one theme of our own and three plugins: our Szef Editor, our Szef Connect, and a security firewall. Less code means faster pages and far less to hack.
